WHAT CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING:

Bought some items this summer, and since you have all the accessories I needed, I bought them and recommended you. I have not found a website like yours that carries as many in-stock items as you. I did not even know that this much gear existed. I want it all!!! One day I may just get it! I can not wait for that day.

Features

  • The latest product to come from the mastermind Danny Love. The new Shocktech
  • Flight Plan. Few things can be more frustrating than traveling with your HP
  • air system. Now a day’s anything can happen, from some TSA agent coming
  • unglued thinking you’re a smaller, white Osama bin something or other, to the
  • baggage handlers tossing your gear bag like it was an Olympic event.
  • Sometimes even driving can have its challenges.
  • So we’re going to roll out the Flight Plan….a multi functional tool that will
  • help keep your regulator and all its components intact, stowed away safely in
  • their individual compartments. At the same time it will give you a helping
  • hand taking the regulator off without smashing it back to its primary elements
  • in your buddy’s axle pulling vise. Not meant to break loose factory installed
  • loctite but, once you’ve done that, the Flight Plan will give you help
  • putting your regulator back on way more than hand tight, which will go a long
  • way to keeping our teammate’s head round…ish.
  • THE TOOL FEATURES:
  • A box wrench meant to fit your gauge
  • Socket for your burst disks
  • Regulator wrench that seats against your fill nipple
  • Two threaded storage holes for bursts disks
  • The gauge wrench also doubles as a storage compartment
  • This is a first generation Flight Plan and was designed to be used on Pure
  • Energy regulators that have the smaller rupture disks. If you have a regulator
  • with the larger ones you can send the Flight Plan in to us and we’ll swap it
  • out for free.
  • Pure Energy regulator bonnets are generally secured into place by two small set screws. These are tightened down and loctited into place. They must not protrude out of the bonnet or the Flight Plan will not fit over the regulator base. If the screws do stick out you may be able to tighten them into place if not you may need shorter ones. DO NOT remove them and use the tank without them.
  • The flight plan was designed to facilitate the removal and reinstallation of your regulator, gauges and rupture disks.
  • Always make sure your tank is completely drained prior to attempting the removal of the regulator or any component.
  • Once you are sure the tank is completely drained loosen the high pressure rupture disk first. If you hear any gas escape stop and double check the tank, it must be completely empty before proceeding.
  • The Flight Plan was not intended to be used to break loose your regulators factory installation. Most companies use a bonding agent such as loctite to secure this union. This should only be performed by a qualified air technician, and only to allow you the ability to take your N2 system through security and get on a plane.
  • While a regulator does not necessarily need to be loctited to be safe you must pay attention to how you use it. The Flight Plan will allow you to tighten your regulator down way beyond hand tight but not as securely as a loctited regulator.
  • Do not over tighten your rupture disk upon reinstallation. You should not need more than three fingers on the tool to perform this operation. You also do not want to over tighten your gauge. A drop or two of a light duty thread sealant will prevent it from leaking. ìCrushingî it into place will only lead to premature failure.
