I use it to play woods ball, scenario ball, and outdoor, things like that. This gun has the durability of the 98 custom, but it is nothing like it. it has the cyclone feed, it is 10 times better than the 98 custom. The response trigger is a must to me, because it can shoot faster, and is a lot cheaper than the E grip, which i don't recommend for many reasons. the A-5 is way better than the X-7. the X-7 is mainly the same gun but with the E grip already in and a little more upgradable, but not nearly as good as internals and not as durable which is key for any gun. the A-5 can be customized to what ever, can handle C02 and HPA. Overall this kills any other gun on the woods ball market

I have owned this marker for the past 2 and a half years and I am very happy with it. It is easy to set up and even easier to maintain. It carries on the amazing durability of the 98 Custom and the reliability of Tippmann pneumatics. If you want a marker that will be durable and affordable this is your pick. It is better than the 98 Custom and is only second to the X7 in outside looks and after market parts.

I own this marker and a few upgrades. The response trigger means when you find the "sweet spot" it shoots a ball when you squeeze and when you release. so if your finger is fast enough, you can shoot up to 17 balls a second. This marker also doesn't chop paint AT ALL. The hopper is gravity fed but the Cyclone Feed doesn't work of of gravity or electricity, but CO2 powered. This means the feed system feeds to your trigger pull.

I purchased this gun a couple months ago and its a really nice gun. It shoots accurate and is powerful. I did upgrade it to an e grip instead and thats an awesome upgrade that has 5 different firing modes. Overall a really good gun for a really good price!

I love this gun. I play woodsball just about every weekend and this marker never fails me. Hits the target, pretty good power, and the big hopper has saved me from a couple painful shots.

This is a great marker, it is probly at its best playin woodsball. Its also good for indor, if you can pull that trigger fast enough you can most definently be victories if you know how to use it and it should be allowed in all tournaments unless the owner is stubern. Well if you get this gun have fun and be safe.

It sucks air like my SUV does gas but I love it. I use a 68ci tank on remote and can easily get in 3 rounds before I'm ready to sit down and have a cold drink. I love having the ablility to bunker people using that sweet spot on the trigger and be legal on any field.

My first experience with paintball was several months ago - we rented some Tippmann 98 Customs - that was all it took to get hooked. I chose the A-5 because it is a great starter marker with plenty of upgrade-ability. Soon after I bought mine with the response trigger, I purchased the flatline barrell (which is awesome) and a Tapco adjustable stock (a real must). Overall this is a great marker to start off with, very easy to setup and use. Talk about laying down some paint...
