Player's View:
Kingman's Spyder VS2 paintball gun is a tournament level marker at an entry level price. Kingman Spyder wants to prove to you that their paintball guns are tournament level. Kingman runs their own Spyder Cup series tournament in which you can only use Spyders to compete. They also own the International professional paintball team Bad Company which uses Kingman guns and equipments exclusively. In my mind Kingman doesn't only walk the walk they talk the talk by proving to you that their guns can hold up to the industry standards of competitive paintball by fielding a team and putting on their own tournament series. The VS2 is no exception; this thing comes out of the box ready to roll including just about every upgrade you could get for it standard. The VS2 paintball gun is setup with a unique tilted grip which is meant to help you play air bunkers tighter and help conceal more of your body. Out of the box the trigger is setup awesome and ready to help you reach the 25 balls per second that this gun is capable of.
Built with 3G technology the new Spyder VS 2 and 3 Series include a patent pending low pressure high performance Balance Valve. The VS2 and VS3 will utilize this 3G technology Balance Valve making the marker operational at 200psi while maintaining incredible speed and ultimate comfort. The Spyder VS2 comes standard with the VS Infiniti Trigger providing a fluid feel to the marker with a 25 shot per second firing rate. The fluid all Aluminum VS Series receiver design protects the internal 3G technology patent pending Balance Valve that allows the marker to operate at 200psi. The 3G technology also incorporates a lightweight striker softer springs and an increase in chamber capacity enhancing the low pressure functionality of the VS marker.* The VS2 is designed for use with Compressed Air/ HPA only*

I had a decision between this gun (actually the VS3, which I currently own but I got it from here and the VS2 is pretty much the same but different color/trigger so deal with it lol) and the ION; my friend actually owns one but I did my research between the VS2 and the ION and from what others say that in order to have the ION good, you need a lot of upgrades and I mean A LOT. New board, new trigger, new feed, new ASA, and so on and so forth. These are the upgrades my friend has, so me, being the "bang for your buck" paintballer I purchased this gun, and might I say it is excellent. Accurate (depends on your definition, but with accuracy in paintball, your experience with the gun only counts and good paint, but all in all your results may vary), no recoil,a ton of cool features, something i would not expect from a 150(ish) gun let alone a Spyder. The one con I have for this gun however is limited firing modes, now does this effect me very much? No, but for those who want more of a mode rich Spyder try the RS or the Vs2 with a tadao board; both are (basing my experience with the VS3) excellent guns. If you want an accurate , efficient( i get 950 from a 48 ci 3000 psi HPA tank, cheap i know, but it works!) and reliable gun you cant go wrong with a VS.

2 piece barrel, Accurate, Easy on and off, Easy To Operate, High Rate Of Fire, Powerful
    Cons:
    Limited Upgradability, Weight
    Best Uses:
    Outdoor, Speedball, woodsball
    Describe Yourself:
    Recreational Player
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I've had this gun about a year. I love it. The weight is not a problem and there is not as much recoil as people think. Turning it off or on is a sinch. The two piece barrel is awesome. The On/Off ASA is better than the Ion's ASA. The Only thing i dont like is how few upgrades there are for it. I got the Virtue Board, barrel Tip, Body Kit, SLing Trigger, CP Feedneck, and Drop Forward w/ dove tail . The gun is awesome. My friends Ion broke 3 times in 2 months, Mine has never broken or jammed. The gun is fricking awesome!
