The Kingman Spyder MR2 08 is a revamp of the Previous MR2 Spyder. This 08 version includes eyes and use of those eyes in all three firing modes unlike the MR3. Kingman Markets this marker as its "High End" Woodsball/ Milsim Marker. and to an extent its True.
    Pros:
The Gun looks intimidating to anyone who is not holding it, and it has the fire rate and response to match. even though you can walk it to 25 BPS with eyes on and in single. it shoots in any other mode 15 BPS to Keep the balls from chopping. Ive shot over 6+ Cases of Paint through this marker and it still performs like it did out of the box. The Marker's Weight and Buttstock make the marker feel like a Rifle which is a plus for me. and the fact that it includes the buttstock is also good.
    Cons:
This Marker is HEAVY, If youre a sprinter type humpin it over bushes and bunkers, this marker WILL slow you down. The Gun Has a Barrel Shroud that adds to the cosmetic look of the marker, but otherwise just adds extra weight to an already heavy marker. the Shroud Does come off but leaves exposed some of the Plastic Foregrip. if you want to use after market Barrels it is recomended that you ask the person you are buying it from if it will fit in a 7/8 inch Hole and can fit through a 2.5 inch long hole. If the Shroud didnt limit the choice of aftermarket barrels then this marker would be a champ. The Stock Grips are Flimsy plastic get the Spyder ones, your main hand will thank you.
    Conclusion:
This Marker ive had since it came out in the beginning of 08 and as we enter the 09 season, i would like to recomend this marker to people who like to get a solid base performance with little modification, for a decent price and dont mind weight and some other little nuances ie. Shroud, Grips, Etc. The Marker Shoots volumes of paint and has eyes so it chops nothing
The Markers accuracy and distance is Average to above average improving with a good barrel and a dot sight if its to your taste.

I’ve been playing recreationally since about ’98-’99. These days I get together with some of the neighborhood kids about once a month. It’s nothing too serious or scenario heavy. With this new marker I can burn through several full hoppers of paint without breaking a single ball. It does get a little heavy running up and down the hills of the Pacific Northwest forests with a 20oz tank attached. But, with a remote system it’s a little more manageable. I love that it can take either compressed air or CO2 (since I have a home filling station). I love the sturdy construction, the 3 modes of fire (with a hair trigger), and the ease of operation. I haven’t had to attempt any long range shots with it yet, so no reports on its distance accuracy. But, the high rate of fire and gnarly appearance is working wonders in the psyop arena. Everyone wants to be on my team.
