The Tippmann patented A-5 Flatline Barrel System puts backspin on the ball which allows for upto 100 feet of increased firing distance while still maintaining breaks on impact. The Flatline Technology produces a level and accurate shot which carries 50% farther than traditional barrels. I love this barrel.
the deal with this barrel is that it increase range a whole lot but other than that i wouldnt recomend getting it. it has horriable accuracy and me and my friends had trouble with it choping paint everytime we played with it. increased rang is the ONLY good thing that this barrel offers

the flatline barrel is without a doubt the best upgrade I have made to my A-5. It doubles your accuracy and range. I could shoot a can off a stump from 50 feet.

I use this produt for almost any far or short distance shots..better distance and acuracy are good the take out or supresive fire..The only bad part is cleaning the barrel

very awsome barrel i use it on my a-5 its great for any game other then speed ball bcuz its kinda bulky bcuz its cover but i can still play in speed ball i usealy put on the stock barrel but i can use it on speed ball but on any other game it great billion thumbs up

The barrel is very nice, I don't like how you have to drop your psi to 270 however (for best results) but still, it shoots a good distance further. Extremely easy to clean and prevents paint from going back into the gun. I would say that the curve is a pro and a con. Its bad for long range, because it curves the ball to one side eventually (you only need to compansate for it going right or left, not up or down). But the curve is nice if you can't get a good shot on some one in a door way. It shoots fairly consistantly, just not when your running low on air. It definetly adds range and power. Highly recommended when you are getting an A-5.

A huge increase in range, my experience is not 100 FT suggested range but more like 80FT. Need to set marker speed down to get full benefit. Easy in change back and forth between the stock barrel and the Flatline.
