The New Flatline Platinum Series Barrel features quick thread design that easily attaches like any other barrel. The Flatline Barrel System is the first production back spin barrel ever produced. The principle behind the system is Tippmann's newly designed slightly curved barrel which applies centrifugal force to the ball creating backspin. Not only does this system offer increased accuracy and distance but also offers flat trajectory for thick brush and canopy play. By minimizing trajectory of the ball and increasing accuracy you increase the amount of targets which would ordinarily be out of range. The Flatline Barrel System adds 100 feet of distance.
This will fit the 98 Platinum 98 Custom Pro and 98 Custom.

this product looks cool. the grip comes in handy.
makes the gun have better range.it allowed me to put a red dot sight on the gun.and you save money if you buy it on this website.

The Barrel increases performance slightly. Its very easy to install, you screw it on just like any other tippmann barrel. The Barrel isen't really worth [$], and i would just stick with the 14inch-16inch barrels for alot cheaper

I am a recreational woodsball player and picked up this barrel a few months ago. I favor a 98custom and was looking for an addition to help with game performance. The flatline barrel was the absolute, hands down, best item I have EVER added to my game! The increase in range and accuracy is outstanding! What would previously take 4-6 shots walking into the target @ 35yds+, now only takes 1-2shots. Sniping at extreme range was not possible before the addition of the flatline barrel. Hitting targets @ 50yds+ is possible with this product. Needless to say, I am now the designated marksman in all of our games. No other barrel for the 98 can compare with this one. The only barrel that can come close to matching the flatline performance is the Hammerhead straightline barrel for the X7(a good product in its' own right). Easy to install and a dream to use, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this barrel to anyone who wishes to "reach out and touch some one."

I bought this based on a comment from a friend. That one comment led me to buy the barrel and my experience with it was very good. The range and accuracy increased significantly. I also enjoyed the grip it added. This is a wonderful piece of engineering, with it's clever design, good handling, and performance increases.

this barrel is amazing i was playing paintball and iwas about 220 feet away from this guy he spotted my team and i spotted him i was the only guy on my team with a flatline so i aimed at him and i shot a paintball hit him on his shoulder i was aiming for his head now that's accurate buy this barrel if you have a tippmann i have a 98custompLatinum
