No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought this adapter for my ion (spyder to ion).When i first received it it was very basic your screw it on the threads of the ion and then that's it. When i went out to play i was in the middle of a couple speed ball games when i started to realize that it was unscrewing itself every so often. Not good especially playing 1 vs 3 and then you have to re-screw it back and then get shot!
