The aluminum mount reverses to fit either a 3/8 7/8 or picatinny rail with thumbscrews for ease of installation. The sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation. The aiming dot can be set to red or green and three degrees of brightness. Easily one of the best values in sights out there!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Its brightness seems good for inside, I took it outside just to shoot the gun and even on the highest setting I couldn't see it well. On a cloudy day, it should work good. I still haven't tried it in the field yet but just target shooting it didn't seem bright enough. I would probably get an enclosed sight instead
